Editor review
Dial Rotor is a tile-rotation puzzle with a small board and a heavy rule-stack. Rotating one tile shifts its four neighbours by one notch each. The win state aligns all tiles into a single colour band. The compound rule is what makes the format work; rotations have a clear local effect and a less clear global one.
The board count sits at fifty. The first ten teach the rule one step at a time. Boards eleven through thirty introduce immovable anchor tiles. Boards thirty-one to fifty add multi-colour bands. The progression is steady and the boards never feel like padding.
I played across a Saturday afternoon and two Warsaw Warsaw metro morning rides. Each board runs three to ten minutes depending on tier.
The flaw is the undo system. Undo rewinds one rotation at a time and on the harder boards you sometimes need to rewind ten rotations to test a hypothesis. A multi-step undo or a board snapshot would help. Three-and-a-half stars overall; the format is honest and the undo UI pulls the rating down.
