Editor review

Hex Strike is a tactical shooter with realistic ballistics and cover mechanics. Twenty levels across six chapters.

What works first is the ballistics model. Each weapon has bullet drop and travel time. Snipers require leading targets at distance.

The cover system is the second pillar. Sandbags degrade under fire; lean-out mechanic lets you peek and fire.

Twenty levels across six chapters with squad commands in later chapters.

Tested across maybe sixty hours over eight weeks. Mostly evening sessions at home with mouse-and-keyboard. Warsaw Metro commute play from Warsaw is awkward.

Where this game pushes past every other shooter is the AI design. Enemy AI uses cover and flanks when you stay in one spot.

Where I would push back is the colour palette. Grey-brown across the campaign.

Four-and-a-half stars. Strong tactical shooter.
